The Panto-Mimo Body Sock – Blue is a wonderfully immersive sensory and movement resource that blends children’s natural love of dressing up, hiding, and movement into one engaging experience. Designed to support sensory exploration, body awareness, and creative expression, this stretchy body sock invites open-ended play through dance, movement, and calm regulation.
Made from soft, elasticated elastane fabric, the body sock gently stretches around the body, allowing users to climb inside and move freely. Children can walk, run, jump, roll, or crawl while receiving deep pressure input that supports sensory processing and vestibular development. The fabric responds to movement, encouraging children to rely on their own senses as they explore space, balance, and body positioning.
The Panto-Mimo Body Sock is equally effective as a calming tool. It provides a cosy, enclosed space where children can retreat, self-regulate, and feel secure during moments of overwhelm. With no hook-and-loop fastenings, there are no scratchy textures or distracting sounds, creating a smooth and soothing sensory experience. A specially designed front closure allows for independent entry and exit, supporting confidence and autonomy.
Ideal for music and movement sessions, sensory spaces, classrooms, and therapy environments, this versatile resource encourages creativity as children communicate ideas, emotions, and stories through movement. It supports both active play and quiet regulation, making it a valuable addition to inclusive learning environments.
